The Briarcrest Christian Saints lost against the Memphis University Owls back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Briarcrest Christian was dealt a 45-14 loss at the hands of Memphis University. Briarcrest Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Although Briarcrest Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Jack Gleason and Caleb Donaldson.
This is the second loss in a row for Briarcrest Christian and nudges their season record down to 4-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.0 points per game. As for Memphis University, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Briarcrest Christian will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against Knoxville Catholic at 7:00 p.m. Memphis University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
