Ta'john Royster Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ta'John Royster produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East to the win on Friday. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the sixth in a row for East, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Royster and East will face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Davell Brock Goes Supernova in Linden-Mckinley Victory
Davell Brock's big game helped extend Linden-McKinley's winning streak to four on Friday. Whetstone had no answer to Brock as he rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Linden-McKinley's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. Brock will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Mifflin on Thursday.

Harrison Posts Huge Game in 58-6 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Akeilles Harrison stepped things up a notch to give Northland the 'W'. Nobody could stop Harrison as he threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards.
Northland's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Harrison and Northland will take on Whetstone at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.

Aaron Britford and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
East picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Aaron Britford. Beechcroft had no answer to Britford as he rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
For the season, Britford has averaged 73.5 passing yards per game.

Darion Matlock Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Darion Matlock posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 79 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards.
