The Beresford Watchdogs will be playing at home against the Alcester-Hudson Cubs at 7:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Beresford is ranked 96th, while the Cubs are ranked 119th).
Beresford waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 73-63 victory over Madison. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Alcester-Hudson ended up a good deal behind the Flyers on Thursday and lost 72-54. Alcester-Hudson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Beresford's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Alcester-Hudson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
