Berlin Brothersvalley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perry Traditional Academy bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Perry Traditional Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northern at 4:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Northern presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Perry Traditional Academy in their respective states (Northern is ranked 175th in Maryland, while Perry Traditional Academy is ranked 656th in Pennsylvania). Berlin Brothersvalley will finish 2023 at home by hosting Conemaugh Township at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Conemaugh Township is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
