Meanwhile, Damien's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Etiwanda. Damien has struggled against Etiwanda recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Upland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-4 record this season. As for Damien, they bumped their record down to 3-14-1 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
