Chazy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Lake Placid Bombers by a score of 10-5. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 18-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Elijah Valentin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Valentin was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Novak Jarus was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Jarus is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. As for Lake Placid, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while.
