It was fun while it lasted, but AGBU's undefeated season came to an end after 12 games on Monday. They took a hard 64-50 fall against the Oakwood Owls. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Owls are ranked 464th).

Having lost for the first time this season, AGBU fell to 12-1. As for Oakwood, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

AGBU will be home for the holidays to greet Workman at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakwood will take on Hillcrest Christian in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakwood is facing Hillcrest Christian at the right time seeing as Hillcrest Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
