While losing is never fun, Raleigh-Egypt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Briarcrest Christian is ranked 27th).
Meanwhile, Memphis Business Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past Crosstown, posting a 87-57 win at home. Considering Memphis Business Academy has won three matchups by more than 29 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Memphis Business Academy found their leader in underclassman Larry Benson III, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 8 assists. Randy White Jr was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Raleigh-Egypt's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Memphis Business Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
