South Lenoir won the last time they faced James Kenan and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 14-1 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jake Howard, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Howard, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

South Lenoir is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for James Kenan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
