West Warwick's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liz Gresin, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gresin has scored all season. Calla Davide was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for West Warwick, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Cumberland will head out on the road to challenge Mt. Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Mt. Hope is ranked 31st, while Cumberland is ranked 20th). As for West Warwick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Greenwich at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Greenwich is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
