The Rosman Tigers managed to keep up with the Highlands Highlanders until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Rosman's rough 72-46 loss to Highlands might stick with them for a while. Rosman has not had much luck with Highlands recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Defeat or not, Rosman got some senior leadership from Kaesyn Mccoy who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds and Marley McCall who scored 17 points. McCall scored a full 37% of Rosman's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Rosman's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Highlands, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Rosman will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Summit Charter at 6:00 p.m. As for Highlands, they will head out on the road to face off against Swain County at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
