Bloomfield won the last time they faced Kirtland Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 16-8 victory. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Bloomfield let Johnny Yates and Gavin Pecotte run wild. Yates fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Pecotte went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave Yates a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blake Spencer, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Bloomfield pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Kirtland Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will venture away from home to square off against Miyamura at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Kirtland Central, they will head out on the road to take on Aztec at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
