The Victory College Prep Bulldogs have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the GEO Next Generation Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Victory College Prep will be strutting in after a win while GEO Next Generation will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Victory College Prep got the win against Herron by a conclusive 65-44. The victory was just what Victory College Prep needed coming off of a 85-49 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, GEO Next Generation was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 52-47 to Union. GEO Next Generation has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, GEO Next Generation got a solid performance out of Isiah Jimison, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jimison has scored all season.
Victory College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for GEO Next Generation, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
