Waseca put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They wrapped up 2024 with an 80-63 win over the Randolph Rockets. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Rockets are ranked 194th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Waseca's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Waseca will challenge Marshall at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Randolph, they will take on United South Central at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
