On Tuesday, the Foothill Trojans's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Golden Valley out 3-2. Foothill's winning goal came courtesy of Jonathan Lucero.
Foothill's win bumped their record up to 14-5-3. As for Golden Valley, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6-5.
Foothill will take on Mira Monte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mira Monte will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Foothill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Golden Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden Valley is facing Del Oro at the right time seeing as Del Oro is stuck on a 11-game losing streak.
