The South Lake Eagles won against the Umatilla Bulldogs  on Wednesday with 57  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Thursday. South Lake walked away with  a   57-48  win over Umatilla. Winning may never get old, but South Lake sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
 South Lake was led to victory by  Isaiah Pina and  Alijah Curry.  Pina  scored 12 points along with six  rebounds and five  steals, while  Curry  scored 23 points. Curry continues to roll, besting  his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  David PINA, who  scored nine points along with seven  rebounds.
 South Lake's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Umatilla, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
 South Lake will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount Dora Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on January 2, 2024. Umatilla is on the road again  on Thursday and play against Jefferson at 7:00  p.m.  on December 28th. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 499th, while Umatilla is ranked 163rd).
