North Callaway's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isiah Craighead, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The contest was Craighead's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sam Pezold, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
North Callaway's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Montgomery County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
