 Lydia Beatty paced McClain's offense, picking up three kills. Beatty were helped by Izzy Clevenger and  Molly McCune, who contributed three assists each. McCune was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Miami Trace was led to victory by  Alyssa Easker and  Keionnie Ackley.  Easker  had six  digs and four  aces, while  Ackley  had seven  digs and three  aces. That's the most  digs  Easker has posted since back in September of 2024.  Rylee Ferguson also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
McClain's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Miami Trace, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McClain is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Hillsboro  at 6:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Miami Trace will  take on  rival Washington  at 6:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
