The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oak Level Baptist Academy in their matchups with Surry HomeSchool: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Tyler Spence, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 22 rebounds for Surry HomeSchool. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Oak Level Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Surry HomeSchool, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-14.
Oak Level Baptist Academy will square off against Union Grove Christian at 8:20 a.m. on Thursday. Union Grove Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully Oak Level Baptist Academy likes a good challenge. As for Surry HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to challenge Community Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Community Baptist is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
