The American Eagles won against the Washington Huskies last Monday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. American walked away with a 65-57 win over the Huskies. The victory was nothing new for American as they're now sitting on four straight.
Kiratraj Sanghera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. Jordan Bucko was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
American has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American will take on the Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moreau Catholic is on a five-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Huskies are ranked 388th).
