The Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They suffered a rough 78-55 defeat at the hands of Centennial. The match was a close 34-33 at the break, but unfortunately for Cripple Creek-Victor it sure didn't stay that way.
Despite the loss, Cripple Creek-Victor still got an impressive performance from Damian Reyes, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Myles Durham, who scored 12 points.
Cripple Creek-Victor's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cripple Creek-Victor will take on the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colorado School for the Deaf Blind comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Centennial, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m.
