The Freeman Flyers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Ethan Rustlers at 7:30 p.m. Freeman will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Last Saturday, Freeman didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lower Brule, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win.
Freeman found their leader in underclassman Tate Sorensen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sorensen has scored all season. Tayden Kerrigan was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Ethan aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Thursday extended their overall winning streak to three. They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 victory over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton.
Freeman's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Ethan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Freeman, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Ethan in their previous meeting back in February of 2023.
