The Bleckley County Royals won against the East Laurens Falcons last Thursday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Bleckley County breezed by East Laurens on the road to the tune of 42-13. The victory was familiar territory for Bleckley County who now have five in a row.
Bleckley County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Stanley led the charge by rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Cam Beck was in the mix as well, providing Bleckley County with two touchdowns.
Bleckley County's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.33 points. As for East Laurens, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Bleckley County will be playing in front of their home fans against Swainsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Swainsboro is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for East Laurens, they will head out on the road to face off against Dublin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dublin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Laurens in Georgia (Dublin is ranked 131st, while East Laurens is ranked 335th).
