The Pamlico County Hurricanes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Southside at home to the tune of 85-36. Winning may never get old, but Pamlico County sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Braylen Ollison was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Koby Lane was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Pamlico County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Southside, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pamlico County will take on the Mariners at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Carteret has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 619 points over their last eight games. As for Southside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Devil Pups at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lejeune focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Tuesday.
