Mamaroneck and Scarsdale are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2014, but not for long. The Mamaroneck Tigers will stay at home for another week and welcome the Scarsdale Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The pair are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
Mamaroneck pushed their score all the way to 33 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Suffern by a score of 35-33.
Meanwhile, Scarsdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of John Jay by a score of 17-14.
Camden Matles put forth a good effort for the losing side as he gained 110 total yards and a touchdown.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 5-3.
Everything came up roses for Mamaroneck against Scarsdale in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 38-7 win. Will Mamaroneck repeat their success, or does Scarsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
