After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portola, The Fall River Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Friday. Everything went their way against Maxwell as Fall River made off with a 42-22 victory. The result was nothing new for Fall River, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Carter Kroschel got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Otto Ulrich was in the mix too, providing Fall River with two touchdowns.
Fall River's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Isaiah Wortman and his two sacks.
Fall River's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Maxwell, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Fall River will look to defend their home field on Friday against Los Molinos at 7:30 p.m. As for Maxwell, they will head out on the road to face off against Quincy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
