The Shelby Whippets snuck past the Lexington Minutemen with  a  56-50 victory thanks to  Schwemley, who  went 7-for-16  en route to 25 points along with three  steals and three  blocks. She is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's  played.
 Despite the  defeat, Lexington had strong showings from  Makaree Chapman, who  went 7-for-17  to rack up 28  points and five  boards, and  Tatum Stover, who  posted 12 points in addition to eight  rebounds and three  steals. That was a full 56% of Lexington's points, marking the third time in a row  Chapman has  earned  more than a third of the team's points.
Shelby's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Lexington,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 10-12.
