The Olney Cubs lost against the Boyd Yellowjackets back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Olney was beaten by Boyd 61-32. Olney has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Payton Boyer, who scored 12 points. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Christopher R Chappotin, who scored 9 points.
Olney's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Boyd, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olney will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Stamford at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Stamford is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Boyd, they will head out on the road to face off against Alvord at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
