The Scotts Hill Lions had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 34-27 win over McNairy Central on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Scotts Hill, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Noah Clayton was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 92 yards, and also threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes. Malachi Johnson was another key contributor, picking up 146 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Scotts Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for McNairy Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Scotts Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McNairy Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
