Carter Triplett had a dynamite game for Christian Heritage, throwing for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 140 yards on only eight carries. Thailan Christopher and his 107 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Christian Heritage's win.
Asheville Christian Academy are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Christian Heritage, Hickory Grove Christian, and High Point Christian Academy. As for Christian Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
Asheville Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against SouthLake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. SouthLake Christian Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Christian Heritage will take on Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Zion is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
