The Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs won against the Rich Township Raptors last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Riverside-Brookfield took down Rich Township 35-20. The victory was nothing new for Riverside-Brookfield as they're now sitting on four straight.
Several Raptors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jason Carey, who rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Carey was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards. Another player making a difference was Jakabri Stevenson, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Riverside-Brookfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Rich Township, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Riverside-Brookfield will look to defend their home field on Friday against Kaneland at 7:00 p.m. Rich Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
