The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Camden Fairview in their matchups with Parkview: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Camden Fairview had strong showings from Trent Haygood, who gained 86 total yards and two touchdowns, and Darrell Atkins Jr, who threw for 232 yards and a touchdown.
Leading Parkview to victory were Eric Mcgehee and Cameron Settles. Mcgehee threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, while Settles rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Settles was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards. Another player making a difference was Monterrio Elston, who gained 84 total yards and a touchdown.
Camden Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Parkview, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Camden Fairview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parkview will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Shiloh Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd. The pair might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.
