While Sandy Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The win continues a trend for the Sidewinders in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won five in a row.

Doty is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Ryan, who scored three runs and stole eight bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Sandy Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sandy Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mountain View Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
