Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Azusa, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-32 loss to Workman on Monday. Azusa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nogales has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Azusa, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
Everything came up roses for Nogales against Azusa when the teams last played two weeks ago as the squad secured a 54-26 victory. With Nogales ahead 36-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
