Emily Poulas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jefferson Township, scoring 17 points along with seven steals. The game was Poulas' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kiley Shatzel, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Morris County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Jefferson Township, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Morris County Tech will head out on the road to face off against Caldwell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson Township, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Madison presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jefferson Township in New Jersey (Madison is ranked 19th, while Jefferson Township is ranked 64th).
