The Andrean Fighting 59ers will be playing at home against the Kankakee Valley Kougars at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Andrean will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Elyse Starr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Starr was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Starr wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mallorie Rose, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Kyli Page was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and a double.
Andrean's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Kankakee Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
