The Ryle Raiders won the last time they faced the Highlands Bluebirds, and things went their way on Friday too. Ryle was the clear victor by a 59-36 margin over the Bluebirds. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ryle.
It was another big night for Quinn Eubank, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. Sarah Baker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Ryle's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will take on the Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Frederick Douglass is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Highlands, they and the Mustangs will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
