Clever is 3-0 against Galena since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Clever Blue Jays will be playing in front of their home fans against the Galena Bears at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Clever's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 42-35 to Marionville.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Galena's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 64-43 loss at the hands of School of the Ozarks. The contest was a close 27-25 at the break, but unfortunately for Galena it sure didn't stay that way.
Clever's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Galena, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Everything came up roses for Clever against Galena in their previous meeting back in January of 2018 as the team secured a 88-61 win. Will Clever repeat their success, or does Galena have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
