Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Kimball Knights, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ennis on Friday. Kimball's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Jeremy Brown had an outrageously good game for Ennis as he rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. Brown 's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Ennis, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Kimball does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ennis is on the road again on Friday and play against Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Lovejoy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ennis in Texas (Lovejoy is ranked 15th, while Ennis is ranked 182nd).
