The Bronson Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Constantine Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bronson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
Bronson posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Maple Valley 67-30 at home. Given Bronson's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Maple Valley is ranked 497th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kamron Brackett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 41 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Boston Bucklin, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Constantine's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their third straight loss. Their tough 53-33 defeat to Kalamazoo Christian might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Constantine has suffered yet this season.
Bronson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Constantine, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
Bronson beat Constantine 53-46 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Bronson repeat their success, or does Constantine have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
