The Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS were the 49-5 winner over the Windsor Academy Knights when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Trinity Christian School of Griffin fell just short of Windsor Academy by a score of 33-30. Trinity Christian School of Griffin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Windsor Academy found their leader in underclassman Audrey Dobson, who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 15 rebounds, and nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Trinity Christian School of Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Windsor Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Trinity Christian School of Griffin and Flint River Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024. Hopefully Flint River Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Thursday. Windsor Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tattnall Square Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
