The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Vinemont in their matchups with Susan Moore: they've now lost seven in a row.
Vinemont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maggie Burks, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Burks continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Reagan Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Vinemont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Susan Moore, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.
Vinemont will head out on the road to square off against Cold Springs at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susan Moore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 186th, while Susan Moore is ranked 38th).
