Scott is 0-6 against Oneida since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Highlanders will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Oneida took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Scott, who comes in off a win.
Scott is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Sunbright with a sharp 12-4 win on Friday. The Highlanders not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28, 2025 (when they won 11-3).

Elijah Strunk and Jaxson Terry made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Strunk tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Terry tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Strunk has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Strunk went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Terry earned one run and three stolen bases.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elisha Hutson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Micah Boles, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Carter hit Oneida with a seven-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians came up short against the Green Hornets, falling 16-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Green Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.
Ben Sexton was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Calvin Smith also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Scott's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Oneida, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
