Even though the Rose Hill Christian Royals scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, the Hannan Wildcats still came out on top. Hannan walked away with a 77-65 win over Rose Hill Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hannan.
Hannan was led to victory by Eli Chapman and Philip Fugett. Chapman dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds, while Fugett scored 22 points along with 9 assists and 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Fugett has scored at least 25% of Hannan's points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Wright, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hannan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rose Hill Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Hannan will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Elk Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. Rose Hill Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Joseph Central at 7:15 p.m. on December 18th.
