After a string of five wins, the St. Paul's Prep Lions 's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They fell to Burton Adventist Academy  66-61. St. Paul's Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Angels apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in January.
 When it comes to explaining why St. Paul's Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Landon Applon. Despite the final result, he  scored 35 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Applon has scored all season.  Cooper Maumus was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 Burton Adventist Academy's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jadon Henderson, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Diego Bracho, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists.
 St. Paul's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Burton Adventist Academy,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's Prep will take on the Cougars at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Burton Adventist Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Lions at 5:30  p.m. Heritage Christian Academy is coming into the  contest on a five-game losing streak.
