Cole Launsby looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Jonah Kleinmann was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of George Dayton, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Hunters Lane lost 15-6 to LaVergne on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ridha Alghatas put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Justin Cordoba Sosa was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hayden Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Hunters Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
