Tree of Life Christian hasn't had much luck against Delaware Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Tree of Life Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Madison Christian and fell 3-2. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-20 in the first set.
Tree of Life Christian started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 15-8.

Tree of Life Christian might have lost, but man, Megan Donnally was a machine: she had 17 digs and two aces. Donnally has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played. Abby Sanders also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Meanwhile, Delaware Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Granville Christian Academy on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
While Delaware Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Granville Christian Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21.
Delaware Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Tree of Life Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Tree of Life Christian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Delaware Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
