Carle Place entered their tilt with Westbury on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Green Dragons. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Frogs this season.

Carle Place got a big performance out of Colin Driscoll, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Driscoll has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Thomas Schoch, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Carle Place always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Carle Place's win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Carle Place will welcome Bayside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westbury, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Valley Stream Central at 5:00 p.m. on May 9.
