The Chancellor Chargers stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Spotsylvania 70-24 on the road. Chancellor is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 12 straight.
Chancellor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendall Scott, who scored 22 points along with five assists and four steals. Scott has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Maya Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Spotsylvania still got an impressive performance from KELLY ROSS, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Spotsylvania struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Chancellor's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. As for Spotsylvania, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Chancellor will be playing in front of their home fans against King George at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chancellor is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season. As for Spotsylvania, they will head out on the road to face off against James Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Spotsylvania focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Monday.
