Anna-Jonesboro had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Johnston City Indians  on Tuesday. The Wildcats are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.
 Ruby Yates was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   11  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 24 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kansas Craig was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Jayci Needling, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
Anna-Jonesboro's win bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Johnston City, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.
As of now, neither Anna-Jonesboro nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
